POSSIBLE FUTURE PROJECTS

…and from the ‘Maybe Later’ bag, we pull out the following handwritten notes today:

TRACES
During my years in Paris, I started a photography project with the working title TRACES, in which I take portrait and write down memories, thoughts, opinions, questions and the occasional exclamation mark about the people I photograph. These people are individuals I have worked with, encountered or who, in some way or another, have left a sweet memory in me.

I’m not quite sure when I should put my foot down and say, “Now, NOW! is it enough of all these portraits… or alternatively, get off my backside and take at least a few more from the long list.

WATER
When I was selecting photos for the website, I noticed that I had many photos with water, waterways… Maybe I should look into that one day.

CITY
I lived in France’s oldest city, Béziers, for a while some years ago. I love taking walks with my camera, but I get really excited when that walk is in and around old cities. Stories and echoes, the mix of old and modern – I am swept away by an old mirrored door with layers of cracked oil paint, hanging crookedly on a single rusty hinge in a 17th-century stone house, or the old castle (construction started in 1190), which can now be viewed through a large glass pyramid in the courtyard. Only in Paris…

SHADOWS
Is there anything more boring than flat light?
No! Exactly!!
So, OK. What shall we talk about now? Anyone..?!

LISEBERG

I have worked at Liseberg, the largest amusement park in the Nordic countries, on several occasions between 2012 and 2024 as a production coordinator and stage manager.

I didn’t take many photos of the visiting artists (because I was working, of course), but I took the opportunity to walk around the park in peace and quiet when it was closed. Halloween was always a special time. There were lots of exciting things one could try to catch.
